Telepathic Dumpster is
fusion. From their name to their
sound, this foursome blends styles from classic rock, folk, metal and jam genres
with an ease that puts a blender to shame.
Funky like Funkadelic, Epic like Rush, Funny like Frank Zappa, Poppy like
Talking Heads, Clever like Lou Reed: Telepathic Dumpster is the merging of three
entities. Seattle rhythm section and
songwriting team Carter Soles and Emily West (a.k.a. Local Buddha) teamed with
solo artist Carl Nash to form Three Headed Dumpster; when Josh Marks, who
recently recorded with Nash under the name Telepathic Connection (remarking of
their uncanny ability to follow each others’ changes) joined in, Telepathic
Dumpster was born. Put them all in
the Dumpster and you get: two guitarists (performing on electric, acoustic,
mandolin, or ukulele); drums, hand and world percussion (kit, tabla, conga),
electric bass; and four vocalists.
