A vicious snake has attacked my genitals, and all I can do about it is keep recording the activities of super-band TELEPATHIC FUCKIN DUMPSTER and posting select hits here on this website. Please send Terminator to: December 31, 2007, Eugene, Oregon, USA. And HAPPY FUCKIN NEW YEAR! BASEMENT TAPES RULE THE GALAXY FOREVER!

A hard-rockin’ improvisational number that includes a wealth of information (provided by Carl) on the history of the berserker. Entertaining and informative!

Here is an early jam version of the groove that would become Untold Story (see below), with lyrics about a crazy lady that would later be adapted to the song called Crazy Lady (see Basement Tapes Vol. 9). This take takes a while to get going, but once it does, it cooks!

A damn fine version of Ghosts – FUCK the earlier versions available on Basement Tapes Vol. 9! Emily’s vocals are a wee bit low right at the outset of the take, but from the first chorus onward, the balance is better and this track fucking RAWKS!

This is the first time this fuckin’ AWESOME song was recorded with Josh’s lead vocals in place. Fuck yeah!

The first part of this track is us jamming on a groove called Give It Up, from an old song Emily and I used to play in a band called Babelfish (circa 1996). Funky! Just before the three-minute mark the jam morphs into the more recent track Gold, which should be familiar to old-school Dumpster-heads as a staple of our early World Cafe shows (June 2005). This version is pretty damn interesting, with radical new guitar parts by Carl and Josh. Check it out!

A GREAT take of this frequent live show closer. Fuck yeah!

An improvised jam based upon an offhand comment by Emily that Carl subsequently fashions into song lyrics.

An improvised number that chronicles many of the finer attributes of Captain Hokka, the legendary Noffellian sailor who inhabits many of Carter’s Dungeons and Dragons and other role-playing game campaigns. This piece stops and starts many times, as is typical of our improvised stuff during rehearsal “breaks.”

This is a GREAT new groove with lyrics by Emily, recorded here with her vocals for the first time. Some stops and starts, but fuck you: it’s so damned groovy!

Milk The Zebra (or Zebra Milk, as it is also called) is one of my all-time favorite Telepathic Dumpster songs. It appeals to me for the same reasons that Scotch Tape (see Basement Tapes Volume 9) does—it is absurd yet damn catchy. Enjoy!

An amazing improv jam that proves that October 17, 2007 was a fuckin’ TIGHT rehearsal night for Telepathic Dumpster! In Nymphomaniac Attack, Carl briefly discusses a nymphomaniac necrophilac (!), then stops singing and allows this intense instrumental groove to work its magic. This track crackles!

Carl’s newest song, here recorded in preparation for its WORLD PREMIERE at the Dumpster’s October 20, 2007 Black Forest show. Funky!

Recorded in preparation for our October 20, 2007 Black Forest show, this is a great recording of a Carl-penned classic.
